Our team of skilled dentists at Stonecreek Dental Care’s Newark, OH dentist office can’t wait to meet you!
Dr. Hatahet’s interest in dentistry is the direct result of a combined interest in medicine and fixing things. So naturally, he went through undergraduate school at Eastern Michigan University, just like Dr. Hiebel, and graduated in 2011 with a degree in biology. He then decided to come to a better place and attended The Ohio State University for dentistry, finishing up in May 2015. Ever since, he has held an adoration for all things Columbus, OH and Buckeyes.
Dr. Hatahet is happily married to his wife, Sajdah, who works at a nonprofit organization in downtown Columbus. Aside from teeth, Dr. Hatahet’s interests are varied. His favorite thing second only to his delightful wife is coffee, which definitely began as a direct result of dental school. He also enjoys exploring new places, trying new food, meeting new people, cars, and car shows. If he was forced to pick another field, he would become a veterinarian.
Dr. Roche is a highly trained doctor who completed an extensive General Practice Residency at Mercy St. Elizabeth Hospital in Youngstown, OH. As a lifelong Ohio native, Dr. Roche was actually born at this same hospital, and completed his undergraduate degree at Youngstown State University. Dr. Roche obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from Midwestern University just outside downtown Chicago, IL. Dr. Roche’s approach to dentistry is compassionate, patient centered, and very thorough. He will take his time with patients to make sure they understand all available treatment options, as he wants what is best for their oral and overall health. Dr. Roche’s passion for dentistry extends outside the office, where he immerses himself in literature and continuing education courses, learning the newest procedures and techniques.
When not practicing dentistry, Dr. Roche enjoys playing and watching sports (his favorite teams are The Buckeyes, Youngstown St. Penguins, Cleveland Indians, Browns, and Cavaliers), movies, TV series, and spending time with friends and family. Dr. Roche is married to his high school sweetheart Abby, and they welcomed their first child, Dow (it’s a family name), in 2017. Dow is a wonderful ball of energy who currently enjoys chasing their 2 dogs around the house in his baby walker, and waking up all throughout the night!
After graduating from The Ohio State University College of Dentistry in the top three of her class, Dr. Biehle joined Stonecreek Dental Care in 2002. She was also an overachiever in her undergraduate years at John Carroll University in Cleveland, OH, where she excelled on the basketball team.
Dr. Biehle always knew she wanted to be a doctor and as time passed she realized that being a mom was equally important to her as being a professional. As a co-owner of Stonecreek Dental Care she has provided herself the ability to achieve both of her loves, taking care of her patients and also her 3 children, Ashleigh, Kylie and Luke.
Dr. Biehle is a highly skilled yet compassionate doctor with a great eye for detail. She has a special affinity for cosmetic dental treatments, Invisalign, and dental sedation. She is also a fellow of the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation and has been recognized by her peers as a top dentist by Columbus Monthly every year since 2011. In her free time she enjoys working on the family home, traveling, and cheering on the Ohio State Buckeyes. Go, Bucks!
Everybody wants to be their own boss, in theory. Dentistry offers that. It gets you the chance to help people, be your own boss, make decisions if you so choose. Some don't want to do that. I happen to like the management aspect of it and the business aspect of that.
I was a, I am an Ohio State dental graduate. I went to University of Virginia for undergraduate and I've had continued education every year for the last 37 years. I've learned implants. I have learned sedation dentistry. I have learned a lot of management aspects of it to be able to manage the business as we grew.
The most rewarding part of being a dentist is helping people. You get a chance to often change people's lives. Putting a filling in a four year old probably isn't going to change that child's life, but changing somebody's smile, say, changing somebody's whiter teeth makes them feel better about themselves or maybe never having a good smile, they always would put their hand in front of their smile before they did ... talk or to say anything. That's the most rewarding, and seeing people grow. Seeing my own team grow. My doctors grow. That is also very rewarding.
