At Stonecreek Dental Care’s Pickerington, OH dentist office, our skilled team includes an endodontist, a periodontist, a doctor who focuses on oral surgery, and a dentist who especially enjoys working with children.
Whether they are a general dentist or a dental specialist, all of our doctors offer care inspired by our office motto: “It’s not so much what we do, but how we do it that really matters.”

Everybody wants to be their own boss, in theory. Dentistry offers that. It gets you the chance to help people, be your own boss, make decisions if you so choose. Some don't want to do that. I happen to like the management aspect of it and the business aspect of that.
I was a, I am an Ohio State dental graduate. I went to University of Virginia for undergraduate and I've had continued education every year for the last 37 years. I've learned implants. I have learned sedation dentistry. I have learned a lot of management aspects of it to be able to manage the business as we grew.
The most rewarding part of being a dentist is helping people. You get a chance to often change people's lives. Putting a filling in a four year old probably isn't going to change that child's life, but changing somebody's smile, say, changing somebody's whiter teeth makes them feel better about themselves or maybe never having a good smile, they always would put their hand in front of their smile before they did ... talk or to say anything. That's the most rewarding, and seeing people grow. Seeing my own team grow. My doctors grow. That is also very rewarding.

Well, what made me start to get into dentistry was, I got a job at Ohio State College of Dentistry I found out that I really enjoyed it. I think the main thing was my uncle's neighbor and a couple of my hometown dentists said it was a rewarding field where you get to help people, but you also get that time with your family, too, which is really important to me.
I went to the Ohio State University for undergrad in dental school. After that I went to University of Virginia for a two-year residency. Decided I missed Ohio, moved back and been here ever since.
Usually start the continuing education that I like to get into, are more into the cosmetic, implant dentistry, extraction-wise, that I tend to do. The most rewarding part about being a dentist, I think, is changing people's lives. Not only making them more personable, let them smile more, actually on the healthy baseline too because it all is connected to your overall health and wellness.
